Our values

At Littleton Pre-School, we believe that there is a delicate balance between teaching your child the basics of formal education and allowing them to develop social skills and personal confidence. Our experienced staff believe that if children are engaged, they will learn and develop in a more natural way.   Activities are mainly child-initiated, with adult support to develop the children's next steps at a pace that suits each individual child.  All learning is play based and underpinned by the seven areas of development contained in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS).
About us

Playing and being messy....

We offer a range of indoor and outdoor led activities for children's different abilities and interests. We are surrounded by 6 hectares of open space that we explore every day.  These are both challenging and enjoyable, with clear learning opportunities. In the summer the children are offered tennis lessons by an experienced coach at the Littleton Tennis Club, just a short walk across the recreation ground from Pre-school.
